Although rarely seen in day-to-day life, mastery in Hanyu Pinyin is crucial in laying a good foundation for Chinese. Understanding Hanyu Pinyin aids students in the accurate pronunciation of Chinese characters. Additionally, Hanyu Pinyin is also often used as a substitution for complicated characters to help students read. 

 

Therefore, Etern has launched a new Hanyu Pinyin Programme targeting K1 to P2 students, aiming to help students lay a strong foundation in Hanyu Pinyin. This will be a 8-weeks programme, consisting of a 1h 30mins class weekly. By the end of the programme we aim for students to be proficient and knowledgeable in Hanyu Pinyin.
